Obituary for John Harrison "Jack" Insley

Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD with Fr. Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation:
Viewing/Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, with Prayers being said at 3:00 PM.
John Harrison “Jack” Insley, 94, of Hollywood, MD died October 28, 2008 in Chesapeake Shores Nursing Center, Lexington Park, MD. Born August 16, 1914 in Hollywood, MD he was the son of the late George Edward and Margaret Edith Abell Insley. He was the loving husband of the late RoseLee K. Insely whom he married on January 15, 1955 in St. John’s Church, Hollywood, MD and who preceded him in death on January 11, 2004. He is survived by his son Scott M. Insley and his wife Kim of Hollywood, MD, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, Jack was the owner of Insley’s Auto Parts. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, with Prayers being said at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Kirk, Carl Kirk, James Kirk, Travis Case, Rich Selby II and Mike Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Rich Selby and Kelly Selby.
