Marvin Stauffer Showalter,44, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on January 23, 2021 in Washington, DC. Marvin was born on September 17, 1976 in Mifflintown, PA, and was the loving son of Kathryn Showalter and Anthony Showalter of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA.
Marvin was the loving husband of Julie Ann Showalter whom he married in Mechanicsville, MD on June 12, 1997. He is survived by his children Shawn Showalter (Julie) of MD, Justine Stauffer (Steven) of MD, Lynette Showalter , Kendra Showalter, Nolan Showalter, Daniel Showalter, Rodney Showalter, Randal Showalter, and Karla Showalter all of Mechanicsville, MD, and 2 grandchildren. As well as his siblings Matthew Showalter of PA, Lewis Showalter (Stacy) of PA, Anthony Showalter (Julie) of OH, Clyde Showalter (Andrey) of PA, Stephan Showalter (Marylou) of PA, Curvin Showalter (Edna) of PA, Marie Stauffer (Jacob) of PA, Kathy Ann Stauffer (Ammon) of PA, Celia Martin (Elvin) of MO, Bethany Martin (Benjamin) of NY, Sarah Stauffer (Menno) of MO, Rosalie Martin (Clinton) of MO.
Marvin was a carpentry for Mill Creek Structures for three and half years.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Showalter home in Mechanicsville, MD. A Prayer Service will be held at their home on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 8:00 AM. A Funeral Service will be follow at the Stauffer Mennonite Church in Loveville, MD with Bishop Warren Martin Timothy Stauffer and Bishop Edwin Stauffer Elmer Brubacher officiating. Interment will follow in the Stauffer Mennonite Cemetery Loveville, MD. Pallbearers; Justin Stauffer, Brian Martin Arlen Martin and Thomas Gehman.
